These terms are a contract between you and Dream Trough Media Ltd, trading as Moto Together App ("MTA", "we", "us", "our"), of 46 Rosemount Avenue, Barnoldswick BB18 5JR. Email: hello@mototogether.co.uk.
They apply when you register for and use the Moto Together App. Please read them with our Community Guidelines (/guidelines), Privacy Policy (/privacy) and Cookie Policy (/cookies). By ticking the box when you register, you agree to these terms.
You must be 18 or over to become a member. You must give accurate details, keep your password private and not share your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away at hello@mototogether.co.uk if you think someone else has used it.
You may only have one account. If we have previously suspended or removed your account, you may not create a new one without our permission.
What you get. Membership gives you access to the member areas of MTA, including the feed, communities, the directory, direct messages, connections and partner deals. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If a change significantly reduces what you get, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
Price. Membership costs £4.99 a month, including any VAT, unless a different price or promotional offer is shown at checkout. There are no other charges.
Payment. Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe, on the day you join and then on the same date each month until you cancel. If a payment fails, we will try again and let you know. You keep access while we retry. If payment is still not made, your membership will lapse and you will only be able to reach your Account page until you rejoin.
Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Promotions. Free or discounted periods (for example, with a promo code) are subject to the terms shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, your membership continues at the normal price when the offer ends unless you cancel first.
Charity donations. 99p from every monthly membership payment is donated to our partner charities, as set out on our home page and at checkout. Donations are made by MTA, not by you, so they are not eligible for Gift Aid.
You have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days of the day you first join, without giving any reason. Your membership starts straight away when you join. If you cancel within this period, we will refund your first payment in full within 14 days.
To cancel within 14 days, use Account > Manage membership > Cancel, or tell us clearly by email to hello@mototogether.co.uk. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to.
To Dream Trough Media Ltd, trading as Moto Together App, 46 Rosemount Avenue, Barnoldswick BB18 5JR, hello@mototogether.co.uk:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: Moto Together App membership.
Joined on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Email address used for your account: [email]. Date: [date].
This right does not apply each time your membership renews.
You can cancel at any time in Account > Manage membership, with no cancellation fee. Your membership ends at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not give refunds for part-months, except as set out in section 4 or where the law requires.
Cancelling your membership does not delete your account. You can rejoin at any time, or delete your account in Account settings.
You keep ownership of everything you post, including topics, replies, photos, files, directory submissions, reviews and messages ("your content"). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and share your content with members on MTA, and to make backups, for as long as it is on MTA. Topics and replies stay on MTA after you leave (shown as "Former member") so that conversations still make sense; you can ask us to remove specific posts.
You must only post content you have the right to share, and you are responsible for your content. Your content must follow our Community Guidelines.
We do not claim to check what members post before it appears. Opinions, recommendations, ride routes and reviews posted by members are their own, not ours. Ride safely, check conditions and routes for yourself, and ride within your ability and the law.
We are committed to protecting members from illegal and harmful content, as required by the Online Safety Act 2023.
Complaints and appeals. If you disagree with a decision we made about your content or account, or you want to complain about content, a member, how we handled a report or anything else, use our contact form (/contact) and choose "Complaint or appeal", or email hello@mototogether.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint, review it fairly (using someone who was not involved in the original decision where possible) and tell you the outcome, normally within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we will put it right, for example by restoring content or your account.
We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or our Community Guidelines, if we reasonably believe your account is being used illegally or to harm others, or if your membership payments are not made. Where we close an account for a serious breach, we will not refund the current month. If you think we have made a mistake, you can appeal as described in section 7.
We may also close MTA altogether. If we do, we will give members at least 30 days' notice where possible and refund any payment for a period after closure.
Partner deals are offered by our partners, not by us. The partner's own terms apply to any purchase, and any contract is between you and the partner. Check details such as price and expiry with the partner before you buy.
Directory listings are provided for information. Some are added by us and some by members. We do not inspect or endorse the businesses listed, and you should check details such as opening times, prices and suitability yourself.
Links to other websites, including our merch shop, charities and social media, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or how they use your data.
Any giveaways or competitions will have their own terms, which will apply alongside these.
We will provide MTA with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, you may have legal rights to a repair, a fix or a price reduction.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or losses caused by other members' content or conduct, partner deals or businesses listed in the directory. MTA is for personal, non-business use, so we are not responsible for any loss of business, profit or opportunity.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.
We aim to keep MTA available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Changes to these terms. We may change these terms, for example to reflect changes in law or in how MTA works. We will tell you about significant changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Transfer. We may transfer this contract to another organisation that takes over MTA. We will tell you if this happens, and it will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your membership to anyone else.
Third party rights. Nobody else has any rights under this contract.
If a court finds part of these terms illegal, the rest will continue in force.
Disputes. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
